Under eye / Tear trough treatment? (Photo)

Question

Please see PIC1 and PIC2. Due to an accident surgery had to be performed underneath the eyes. This combined with weight loss resulted in the unsightly appearence you can see in the pictures. Is this something that can be bettered by tear trough surgery?

Thank you for your question.  Better photographs of both eyes that are in proper focus would help me answer your question more accurately.

If what you are seeing is slight puffiness of the lower eyelid with a dark depression or dark circles underneath the eye than you are seeing most likely an accentuated naso-Djugal fold not a tear trough deformity.

If after examination in person the findings that I see are confirmed by your surgeon, and a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with arcus marginalis release and fat grafting may be your best solution.
