If what you are seeing is slight puffiness of the lower eyelid with a dark depression or dark circles underneath the eye than you are seeing most likely an accentuated naso-Djugal fold not a tear trough deformity.

If after examination in person the findings that I see are confirmed by your surgeon, and a transconjunctival lower blepharoplasty with arcus marginalis release and fat grafting may be your best solution.
