I want to know if there is a way to get less upper eyelid exposure. They make me look tired.
Answer: Eyelid Surgery You would benefit from tightening the eyelid muscle to elevate the eyelids. This will decrease the tarsal platform show (“exposure of the lid”) and make you look less tired. Best to see an eyelid specialist.

Answer: Tired looking eyes Thank you for sharing your question and posting your photos. It appears you have bilateral ptosis (droopy eyelids) which can be easily treated by an experienced oculoplastic surgeon. Make an appointment for comprehensive evaluation and treatment. Good luck!

Answer: Tired appearing upper eyelids It is difficult for me to tell from the pictures you provided, but it is possible that you have ptosis of your upper eyelids. This condition occurs when the upper eyelid falls lower across the eyeball than it should and it can normally be corrected with a surgical procedure. I would consult with an oculoplastic surgeon or a surgeon experienced in ptosis repair.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Blepharoplasty Thank you for your photos! Eyelid surgery has become one of my most popular procedures. If excess upper eyelid skin is hooding the eye and needs to be eliminated, an incision is made in the crease at the top of the lid and excess fat and skin are removed. The incisions are closed and sutured on the underside of the skin. If there is also upper eyelid sagging ptosis repair is performed to tighten and lift the levator muscle and reduce eyelid drooping. An effective non-surgical option that might benefit you is Thermage, which can tighten the skin around the eyes. The new and improved Thermage is a virtually painless, non-invasive (no incision!) treatment that can tighten skin and stimulate your body to make healthier collagen—the building block that provides structure to your skin. Fast and easy, Thermage requires no downtime from normal activities. The use of certain topical creams can also be helpful to reduce the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eyes. I suggest making an appointment with a board-certified plastic surgeon experienced in blepharoplasty.
