Does your tummy tuck cut have to be hip to hip? A previous cut from c-section. Would that cut be widen from hip to hip? (Photo)

If your C-section scar is located low enough, your tummy tuck incision will go through the existing scar. For a full tummy tuck, it will extend it so it is longer in order to remove enough skin. For a mini, it is about the same length.

Best to clarify with your ps since every surgeon has a slightly different post op protocol. Just remember that it takes s good year for scars to mature.

Hi!  It does appear as though your scar is a bit high and/or your belly button a bit low but determining which would require your preop photos as well as an in person exam.  This is a tough problem to fix completely but the distance between your scar and belly button can be lengthened a bit.  It...

All of the above will probably work.  Wounds like this are not that uncommon and usually heal within a few weeks.  Most importantly keep the area clean, wash your hands and wear gloves when dressing the wound. Best of luck,Dr. Hyans
