I'm 33 just had a baby and noticed a mole or freckle ( small,flat, oval, brown, clear borders) between my toes during pregnancy. I didn't think anything of it. I now have a very tiny freckle on the top of the same toe. My GP was not concerned, but everything I read says new moles on feet are very serious. Is this true??

Any new pigmented lesion should be evaluated by a qualified dermatologist. That being said, many changes take place during pregnancy and most pigmentation changes are not serious. I would still recommend making an appointment with you dermatologist just to have them check it out. Best of luck

Congratulations on your new baby. Women during pregnancy can often develop new pigmented areas, new prominent blood vessels, and new lumps and bumps. During the early post-pregnancy period, particularly if you're breast feeding, these can persist. If you're ever concerned about a pigmented lesion, you should visit with a dermatologist. If they aren't concerned, I would wait to do anything about it until your hormones completely normalize. A lot of these pregnancy changes will go away on their own.Good luck! Get some sleep!
