Would I benefit from a chin implant, or rhinoplasty to balance my face? (Photo)

Question

I've gotten chin filler before, but it didn't last as long as I'd liked. I'm looking for something more permanent. I don't mind my front angle, but from the side I tend to feel self conscious as I have my whole life. However, I can't tell which it is that needs balancing! What do you recommend? Searching for a doctor anywhere in the US.

You can start with just a chin implant. Your nose is cute with a nice upturn and there is really nothing wrong.  If you want to reduce the general size of your nose and balance things, a chin implant can be done. We do those right in the office usually and they take only about 20 minutes. A chin implant can augment your chin forward for better facial balance and proportions. Augmenting your bridge line on your nose would also be helpful as well. Both procedures can be done together or separately. Digital computer imaging of both your chin and your nose would be helpful to understand what can be accomplished with either one or both procedures

From the profile view, the deepest point of the root of the nose is at the level of the lower eyelid edge. The normal position for this is at the edge of the upper eyelid, or at the crease of the upper eyelid. This can be improved with a cartilage graft to the bridge of the nose. A dorsal rhinoplasty can accomplish this goal. Alternately, a liquid rhinoplasty, which is filler in the bridge of the nose, could also provide improvement. (Make sure a facial plastic surgeon performs this.) The chin has mild weakness to the projection, which is fine in women. However, it is also reasonable to do a small chin implant. That being said, the dorsal rhinoplasty will improve the facial balance the most.

Based on the 3 posted slightly out of focus photos, I agree chin implant (anatomic size medium) with tip rhinoplasty is indicated. Expect fees in the $8,000+ ranges. Best to virtual consult with.....

A chin, implant or sliding genioplasty may be appropriate procedures.
I suggest timing a few in person consultations with local boards, certified plastic surgeons or oral surgeons who have experienced with these procedures.
I don’t see an obvious need for a rhinoplasty, but you can certainly talk to plastic surgeons about it.
