I do this several times each week. The amount that can be removed depends upon many factors including your skin thickness, muscle size, tooth position, etc. With a before and after photo I may be able to tell you if more can be received, and yes, 1 cm is not impossible at all.

I don’t know why somebody would go through an operation and pay thousands of dollars without seeing any change either?
Surgeons are generally responsible for the outcome of the procedure and patients are responsible for surgeon selection.
