Interesting question. I have never made that recommendation to any of my patients, since green tea does not interfere with the CoolSculpting process in any way. CoolSculpting freezes fat cells in the treatment area, crystallizing them so they can be eliminated by the natural processes of the body. The metabolic effects of green tea would not enhance or disrupt this procedure. I would ask your doctor for specifics as to why green tea is prohibited.
It is safe to consume green tea and other caffeinated beverages after Coolsculpting. You just want to avoid anti-inflammatory medications after your Coolsculpting treatment or anything that may cause bruising such as aspirin and ibuprofen.
Thank you for your question. Consuming caffeine post treatment will not have any effect on your results. Coolsculpting works by targeting the subcutaneous layer of fat and freezing that area for a specific amount of time. The frozen cells then die and are drained out through your bodies lymphatic system. Green tea is safe to drink after the procedure! Thanks again, good luck!
Thank you for your question. I don’t believe there is a contraindication to drinking green tea after a CoolSculpting treatment. CoolSculpting works by freezing and crystallizing fat cells so they can be eliminated through the body’s lymphatic system in the weeks following treatment. Green tea would not impact that process in any way. I would ask your provider the reason behind the instruction to determine whether there is a particular circumstance I am not aware of, but I have never given this direction to my patients.
I do not have my patients avoid green tea after a CoolSculpting treatment and I do not believe the green tea would have any effect on the CoolSculpting results. I do generally recommend following the instructions of the doctor who treated you though.
Post treatment, we always recommend avoiding anti-inflammatory medications since the inflammatory response is what drives the amazing results. Green tea has been known for its anti-inflammatory properties according to the Arthritis Foundation due to its polyphenols. If possible, try other teas at this time. The darker the tea, the higher the caffeine content (which does not interfere with your treatment); however I would say avoiding the green tea is not a bad recommendation. Good luck!
Anti-inflammatory medication or products should be avoided after CoolSculpting to get the maximum inflammatory response and the best results. Caffeine does not fall into that category and is safe to consume.;
Drinking Caffeine after getting the Coolsculpting treatment should not effect your results or recovery. This is mainly because the body does not need to actually burn the fat off or metabolize anything because those cells are dead from the treatment and will be eliminated from the body. We often tell our clients who are more prone to bruising to avoid caffeine BEFORE their procedures/treatments to help prevent extra bruising but have not had this issue with CoolSculpting in our practice.
I admire the ambition with which your are pursuing your aesthetic goals! CoolSculpting and RF treatments are two procedures with different ends in mind, though there is some overlap in the results of each. First and foremost, make sure that both procedures are attended to by a ph...
Hi there! Thanks for your question! Based on the photo you provided it looks like you may benefit from CoolSculpting! CoolSculpting is the #1 non-invasive, FDA cleared fat reduction treatment in the US! You can expect to see up to a 25% fat reduction in the area treated. I recommend consulting ...
Good question. CoolSculpting is primarily used for fat reduction. It works by freezing fat cells so the body can eliminate them naturally. Ultherapy uses ultrasound energy, delivered deep into the dermal layers, to tighten and firm skin. The best approach for you will depend on your specific...
