There are several different types of radio frequency treatments and they can go to different depths. Some of these will only treat the surface of the skin and others can go deeper, under the skin. If you were going to have a treatment to just treat the surface of the skin over an area that was treated with CoolSculpting, I would say to wait about a week. If you were going to have a deeper radio frequency treatment, I would recommend waiting at least a month.
I admire the ambition with which your are pursuing your aesthetic goals! CoolSculpting and RF treatments are two procedures with different ends in mind, though there is some overlap in the results of each. First and foremost, make sure that both procedures are attended to by a physician—ideally the same one. CoolSculpting freezes fat cells so that the body can excrete them naturally in the weeks following the procedure. The aim of CoolSculpting is to rid the body of these cells. RF treatments, on the other hand, are mostly aimed at tightening the skin. RF accomplishes this by sending radio frequency energy deep into the dermal tissue to heat and liquify adipose fat. This produces a "shrink wrap" effect in which your skin is pulled tight over the target area. A bonus effect of this technique is that there is fat reduction in RF's target areas. As long as your skin and fat tissues have fully recovered from the CoolSculpting procedure, then you should be ok to go ahead with your RF treatments. Recovery from CoolSculpting roughly takes a week or less, although you will not see the final results until a few weeks later. Again, I would recommend having both procedures performed under the supervision of the same medical professional.
