I had a .5 syringe of Kysse lip filler almost 6 months ago. That was the second treatment I’ve had since having my lips dissolved and redone. The first time I had them done after having my lips dissolved was in October, 2022. My lips are still extremely lumpy. I’m just really self conscious about them and wondering if this is normal? I don’t want to put anymore filler in them to “fix” them as they are already a little to big for me.

Answer: Hyaluronidase might be right for you! If you don't like your filler results, and you feel like you still have lumps you might be suitable for hyaluronidase to help dissolve that unwanted filler. When getting procedures like lip fillers done, it´s crucial for you to know your injector and establish a good communication with them. Only that way you will make yourself sure that your injector does get what you are looking for.

Answer: Reverse Lumps with Hylenex Hello kjh20! My name is Jessica, I am a physician assistant, and one of the providers at Shah Facial Plastics. Filler migration and permanence is a common concern. Use of cohesive fillers on thin skin may cause swelling and nodularity. Generally, when patients present with lumps and nodularity, it is best to use Hylenex in order to dissolve the filler. If the filler does not dissolve, it means that the original filler injected is not based with hyaluronic acid material or that we need more enzyme to dissolve the filler. The hyaluronic acid reversal can be combined with other laser and skin treatments simultaneously. I hope this helps and best of luck!
