Rhinoplasty to improve eye asymmetry? (Photo)

Question

Would Rhinoplasty be indicated to improve eye asymmetry? I know I can't change the shape of my eyes, I feel like my septum is not midline though and it makes one of my eyes appear larger.

Thank you for your question, audmtodd. You are right to indicate that one's nose affects the appearance of their eyes, however, the unevenness of the eyes themselves is not related to the nose. You should consult a board certified facial plastic surgeon for a blepharoplasty. Best wishes,

A rhinoplasty is performed to make changes on the nose, not the eyelids. Performing a rhinoplasty can accomplish improvement to the asymmetry in the nose, narrowing the bridge, narrowing the tip, and shaving down  the dorsal hump. Your eyes being asymmetric has nothing to do with your septum being deviated. We are all asymmetric and have half our face(which includes eyes, lips, ears, etc.) is usually different than the other side. With respect to your nose, it can definitely made to be more refined and feminine to match your face. Our nose patients often comment on how following their nose job, their eyes seem to be more pleasing.
