I have an overbite and do not like my chin/ underneath my chin because it appears kind of weak. I was thinking about getting either a chin implant or chin filler- or maybe jaw surgery to fix the overbite or braces, please suggest what you think is best for me :)

Answer: Your face is aesthetically quite pleasing If you have an overbite, the best course of action is to have a consultation with your dentist. As for the appearance and facial symmetry, I don't see any issue related to chin projection. Overall, your face is aesthetically quite pleasing. If I had to point out something that could potentially be improved, it would be the jawline definition and the mandibular angle. Volume could be added to the jaw angles using either hyaluronic acid fillers or implants, which would enhance the overall contour of your face. In addition, liposuction under the chin could also contribute positively. If I had a 3/4 view photograph, I could provide you with a more detailed assessment.

Answer: Perhaps consider neck liposuction. In general, when somebody has an overbite repaired, this tends to not affect the appearance of somebody's chin. Additionally, you appear to have a well projected chin appearance on profile, so I do not believe that chin augmentation would be helpful. If you are looking to improve upon the appearance of your jawline, neck liposuction may be considered. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
