For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in-person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
We typically recommend a period of time between surgery and use of fillers due to the inflammation and swelling which can alter the amount of filler used and placement. We recommend discussion with your treating provider.
Hello! It is not recommended to add filler to the chin a couple days AFTER chin liposuction. Liposuction under the chin will cause a decent amount of swelling, making you look fuller than before the actual surgery. This will throw off how you truly look and what the final outcome will be. It is best to wait a full 4-6 weeks minimum prior to adding chin filler and chin liposuction. Once cleared by your surgeon, you should be good to go!
It is very possible that you may have some swelling after liposuction under your chin, so I would recommend waiting at least a couple of weeks after your procedure before having a filler injected into the chin.
