I have deep fine lines around my chin, jaw, and mouth but only on one side of my face. Is there any kind of filler to fix this?
Answer: Asymmetry is common and can be treated with fillers Hello, thank you for posting your questions and photos. Dermal fillers are a cosmetic treatment option that can help address lines around the chin and mouth. These lines, also known as nasolabial folds and marionette lines, are common signs of aging and can make individuals appear older. Dermal fillers work by injecting a gel-like substance into the skin, which helps to plump up and smooth out these lines, resulting in a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance. Fillers like Juvederm and Restylane last around 6-12 months, and the results can be maintained with regular injections. This non-surgical procedure is quick and relatively painless, making it a convenient option for those seeking to improve their facial aesthetics. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with a reputable board-certified facial plastic surgeon and expert injector. They will be able to evaluate your concerns and treatment history, then determine the best course of action to achieve your desired results.

Answer: Yes, there is a solution! Every single person has asymmetries of the face to some degree. It is common for one side of the mouth to show deeper lines compared to the other side due to sleeping positions, excess sun exposure from driving, etc. However, there is a solution for you, and that is dermal HA fillers + neurotoxin to the mentalis muscle (chin). I would suggest starting to 1-2mL of HA fillers to soften out smile lines around the mouth. You can also benefit from a little bit of Botox to the chin which will help soften chin dimpling caused by muscle contraction!

Answer: Improving Deep Wrinkles -- Botox/Xeomin/Dysport/Jeuveau, fillers, fat, RF treatments, Ultherapy, Renuvion, lasers, Sculptra A combination approach would give the most improvement. Deep wrinkles and smile lines can be improved with a combination of Botox and/or fillers for the lines themselves and to build anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Ultherapy is a great skin tightening device, but works best in combination with other treatments like J Plasma, RF treatments, lasers, microneedling/PRP, salt facials, Cosmelan for skin tightening and improve skin tone. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Low Viscosity, Malleable, Cohesive HA Filler Can Work Well For Lines Around Jaw, Chin & Mouth This is not such an unusual problem. I have had very gratifying results treating these kinds of motion-related lines on the lower third of the face using a low viscosity, malleable, cohesive HA filler, which can act as a support to the area and consequently can minimize their appearance with muscle movement. Treatment should take no more than a few minutes to complete with immediate results. You would be wise to consult a board certified cosmetic dermatologist and best of luck.
