I had 2250 in Istanbul 10days ago and redness isn’t going away. My skin feels raised and looks red in the recipient area. I have been using aloe Vera but nothing changes day by day it just remains the same. I am worried I will stay this way for months. Can any cream or medication help reduce the swollen skin and redness?

Answer: How long does redness take to go down after a beard transplant? It really depends on your skin type and color. The darker the skin color the faster the redness should subside. However the lighter the skin color the redness may persist more than a month. Check with your clinic if it seems irritated, has fever or is having pain.

Answer: Redness after a beard transplantation Redness and slightly raised skin is not uncommon following any type of hair transplantation and this can last up to 4 to 6 weeks. The good news is that you do not have any signs of infection or cellulitis based on these picture. You also had a pretty large transplant case completed on your face, which is likely contributing to the redness. At this point, monitor and be patient - you are going to have a great result.
