Hi, im 2,5 months post op bt. My previous beard is growing like before i notice the implanted grafts surrounded by previous beard hairs are growing in the same direction. Nevertheless, i had no previous hair on my cheeks and there is the problem, the grafts on this area are growing in different directions. What is more strange is the exact same problem happen on my right cheek and exactly on the same spot.... the clinic said it takes time for hair to grow in the good direction but im quite worry.

If you are having post operative issues, it is best to contact your doctor for a follow up examination.  It takes 6 to 12 months to see the final results.

Thank you for posting this question. The reality is that the follicles are going to grow out in the direction in which they were placed. It’s the responsibility of the surgeon to make sure the grafts are inserted in the correct direction. It’s only 2.5 months out, so I would wait until the hair has grown in (~8-12 months following the procedure) and reassess at that point. Return to the surgeon who performed your transplant if you’re not satisfied with the direction of the hairs. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Well. the truth is that the hair will always grow out in the direction they were implanted. So, it would probably be best to contact your surgeon and ask again.At our clinic, we use hair implanter pens to directly implant the grafts and control their angle and direction.

Hair grows in the direction that it was placed by the surgeon. I don't feel that the answer given you satisfies you, so go back to your surgeon again and ask again
