Over the past 5 years most of the fat & muscle in the left side of my face has deteriorated & my lips are shifting to the left as well. I've always had very high prominent cheek bones so the one flat side makes me look like I have bellspalsy. I'm only 32. At first I thought my wisdom teeth coming in was the problem. They've since been removed & it seems I look worse now.
Answer: Fillers Hello,Thank you for your question and photos. Based on what can be seen here, it appears you would benefit from some fillers. By injecting things like Voluma or Sculptra into the lateral face, you will see a fuller face and experience a lift. It is important to consult with a local physician to determine the best treatment. Good luck!

Answer: Cheek Contouring and Volume with Fillers (Radiesse, Voluma, Bellafill), Sculptra, implants, fat You have a few options. Volume and contouring of the cheeks can be created with well-placed fillers (Voluma, Radiesse, Bellafill) and Sculptra. Implants or fat are alternatives. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: What type of surgery do I need? Left side of my face is sinking in The malar area is the most projecting part of the midface skeleton. It is what we consider the "cheekbone." Prominent malar bones are considered attractive. Hence, the malar area is frequently augmented with implants. Oftentimes, a deficiency in cheek prominence is part of a more generalized deficiency in the midface skeleton. For that reason, malar (cheek) implants are often used in combination with other implants - most frequently, with infraorbital rim implants, which build up the area directly beneath the eye.

Answer: What type of surgery do I need? Left side of my face is sinking in Hi, I have performed many facial shaping procedures using dermal fillers, facial implants (cheek, chin), liposuction and/or facelifts for over 30 years. From the photos, your cheeks are very flat in the front (more so on the left side), the chin is weak as are the back portions of the jaw line. These combine to create an elongated, oval shaped face. Following my beauty principles, women look the most feminine, youthful and attractive with heart shaped faces. Heart shaped faces have cheeks that are full and round in the front. Cheek augmentation with a dermal filler or using cheek implants for a permanent enhancement will create full, round cheeks that will feminize the entire face. I have performed many Chin Augmentations using chin implants for over 30 years. From the photos, your chin is weak. A weak chin creates an imbalance making the nose appear larger, the mid face top heavy and the lower face look short that de-emphasizes the lips and allows early formation of a double chin. Chin augmentation using a chin implant will add projection to the chin creating harmony and balance to the lower face. I have found that placement of a silastic chin implant, through a small curved incision under the chin (also allows excess skin removal) to be very safe, quick, highly effective and far less invasive than a sliding genioplasty. I perform chin implant surgery in 30 minutes or less, often using a local anesthetic alone. In my opinion, you are a good candidate for chin implant surgery. The back portion of your jaw line is a bit weak and can be augmented, without making your face appear masculine, using precise placement of a dermal filler (I prefer using Restylane Lyft). Hope this helps.
