lip fillers and around the mouth can help balance larger features like chin and cheeks. I suggest a lip plumper regularly (see link) and fillers, but you may want a formal evaluation/possible lip lift or more permanent solution. Best, Dr. Emer.
Without photos, it is really not possible to answer your question specifically. Injectable fillers have been routinely used for years to create greater harmony and balance between nasal, lip and chin projections. Fillers injected into the nasal columella and tip can rotate the nose upward shortening its outward projection. And lips can be augmented to establish more ideal proportions and projection. Dear JemmaRisdon,I typically use Juvederm for my lip sculpting. There are two main focuses of lip injections, adding volume and actually sculpting the shape. Both involve injecting the filler in different areas of the lips and patterns.I would recommend finding a plastic surgeon to perform you lip injections. Most of my patients have results that last at least 6 months.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

It appears that you have a left upper red lip scar. I would try steroid injections first and if no improvement after two injections, spaced two months apart, I would offer you a surgical lip scar revision. This has to be done carefully by an experienced lip surgeon.Consult with an experienced...
