I'm 10 weeks post op, and already at 6 weeks I knew I wouldn't be happy with the result. I don't want a bigger butt, but it has shrinked a lot and actually my butt is smaller now than it was BEFORE my surgery. The liposuction is uneven on right side as you can see, and I have large pockets of fat under my butt. As well with a bump on my low belly. Will a second round with lipo help the result I'm seeking? And do I need a full round of BBL again to fill out the dents and make my booty look full?
Answer: Will a second round BBL/Lipo help my result? (photo) Having the BBL done a second time is an option as long as you have enough fat to be transferred. You will usually need at least 3 months before getting a revision. The revision implies that there is less fat than the first time, and scar tissue will make the surgery much more difficult on the surgeon. The percentage of fat survival in the BBL the second time should be about the same. Kenneth Hughes, MD, ABPS Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Los Angeles, CA

Answer: BBL results Dear sloppyfish, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a BBL surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your surgery. Answer: Will a second round BBL/Lipo help my result? (photo) Hello dear!! Thanks for the question and provided information as well. You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. At the stage you are in, inflammation and irregularities are normal. If you have any concerns, please follow up close with your plastic surgeon. Good luck :)

Answer: BBL concerns Hello and thank you for your question. Being 10 weeks post BBL you are still at the early stages of recovery and swelling may still be present. Unfortunately, the only way to get to the bottom of all your concerns is to be evaluated in person. If you are truly unhappy with your results, I would recommend discussing this with your surgeon.

Answer: BBL Revision Final results are typically seen 3-6 months post-op. Do you know what technique your doctor used? The definitive correction for liposuction deformities requires the advanced technology of ultrasound assisted VASER liposuction. As an official trainer of VASER liposuction, I encounter suboptimal liposuction outcome referrals weekly. VASER liposuction has been the only modality that has consistently corrected liposuction caused deformities. VASER liposuction ensures a smooth contour regardless of severity of contour irregularities by virtue of being able to remove any and all remaining fat comprehensively and uniformly. Finally, when skin redundancy irregularities are observed, Renuvion technology can be simultaneously applied to tighten your skin to optimize your overall contour outcome. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a VASER specialist will help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACS Realself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
