Hello nina0726,It’s a pleasure to answer your questions! The Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) is a very popular cosmetic procedure because it requires only small incisions and can give patients a perkier, fuller and beautifully rounded backside. Your only scars after BBL surgery may result from liposuction, which is used to remove fat from the donor site. Because VASER liposuction incisions are small, the scars are also small and are placed in hidden areas. The amount or degree of scarring depends on the surgeon’s technique and your genetic tendencies. Fortunately, most liposuction scars fade and are barely perceptible over time. Visible scars are more likely when large liposuction cannulas are used in patients who have darkly pigmented skin. Wishing you the best! Dr. De La Cruz.
Hi. No. Incisions to harvest the fat cells with lipo are less than 1/2 cm. and are placed where they will be hidden by the underware and swimwear, they remain almost imperceptible. As for the incisions to transfer the fat they are placed in the "internal face of the gluteous", resting invisible to the eye.International Member of the American Society of Plastic SurgeonsMember of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

This is the great debate...I like others on here have tried the cut out garment and have switched back to placing patients in the covered garment. I typically have patients wear the surgical compression garment for 2 weeks, then switch into spanx. Because spanx come in so many different sizes a...
