How long can feet swell after BBL? 12 weeks post op.

I appreciate your questions! Traveling after getting a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL)  increases the risks of complications. Therefore, I typically suggest my patients to avoid travelling at least the first 8 weeks after surgery. In the case BBL patients can’t elude getting in a plane, plastic surgeons may prescribe an anti-coagulant medication to prevent a deep venous thrombosis, especially for long flights. Symptoms of blood clots in legs (deep vein thrombosis) are pain, redness, and swelling. Without pictures of your legs it’s impossible to offer a proper diagnosis. I would recommend consult with your doctor promptly about your particular concerns, especially if you notice an increase in swelling, pain, redness, drainage, or bleeding in the surgical area, or if you develop fever, dizziness, nausea, or vomiting.
