Hello. I’m scheduled to have a BBL in the coming months. Let me state I am a gastric bypass patient (7 yrs ago) and have excess skin. I inquired about having thigh lipo and was told it can be added on to my surgery but it takes away from the 5L maximum which I understand. My question is Should I wait & do the thigh lipo another time b/c I’m not sure if I’ll need a thigh lift as well. Or should I go ahead & add it??? Thanks in advance

Thanks for your question. Weight loss, weight gain and exercise do affect BBL results. The fat transferred to your buttocks is affected in the same manner as when you normally lose weight or gain weight or exercise. Hope this helps. Please always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon....
Thanks for your question. A BBL requires lipo 360, which is lipo of the uppper and lower back, upper and lower abdomen, and hips. That said, it is harder to gain weight in the areas where lipo has been performed since fat cells are removed through liposuction. Hope this explanation helps. Always...
Thank you for your question. There is not a specific age, but first, for safety reasons, to be a good candidate for the procedures you want at the same time, your labs and cardiovascular preoperative evaluation must be optimal.
