Are my Brazilian Butt Lift expectations realistic/achievable? (photos)

Hello docs, I feel like I have a good foundation for a Brazilian butt lift but I'm not sure if my expectations are realistic. I want a REALLY flat tummy and bigger hips and butt and to eliminate my hip dips. I'm 5'5 weigh about 150 but I plan to lose about 10 more pounds before I schedule a consult(unless I need this amount of fat to get my results ?) . I edited my pictures to how I want to look. Do you feel this look could really be achieved or should I lessen my expectations for a BBL?

Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a good candidate for the procedure, but its success will depend on how much fat you have to donate. Your current BMI is around 25, which may lend itself to a great result. The amount of hip projection is often dependent not only on fat, but also how tight the area is and whether it will allow enough graft to meet your goals. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your question. From your pictures, you seem to be a good BBL candidate. The BBL includes 360 lipo, which is lipo of the upper and lower abdomen, the upper and lower back and the flanks. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure your surgeon you choose has extensive experience in with Skinny BBLs and clean credentials. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). Your desired results can be achieved through a combination of high definition liposuction of your flanks and lower back followed by fat grafting to your buttock and lateral hips. Peoples inherent body shape is primarily determined by skeletal structure not by fat distribution.

Fat manipulation to mimic someone with a different skeletal structure it’s only going to be effective to a certain degree.

This procedure has more exaggerated results floating around the Internet than any other plastic surgery procedure by far.

Both patients and providers seem to be motivated to show extreme results that are in reality rarely obtainable if ever.

These pictures seem to have a life of the wrong and be forwarded more and more through social media.

I suggest looking at plastic surgeons websites and look at before and after pictures of patients who look like you in the before pictures.

If you average the results of those pictures then you’ll have a pretty good idea of what your results most likely will look like.

Recognize that plastic surgeons typically only post their very best results and for every posted picture there’s often lots of pictures of results that didn’t look nearly as good.

There’s lots of talented providers and there are indeed many excellent BBL results out there. Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than people believe.

I suggest you focus your effort on finding the most experienced and talented provider in your community.

The best way to do that is the schedule numerous in person consultations.

During consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the BBL procedure. This will give confirmation of how many of these procedures that performed and what less than average an average results look like.

Providers who cannot demonstrate at least 50 before and after pictures should be considered as somewhat inexperienced.

Highly experienced providers will have hundreds or possibly thousands of before and after pictures for this single procedure.

There are certainly plenty of plastic surgeons delivering quality BBL results who haven’t done 1000 BBL‘s butt typically those who deliver the best results have been doing the procedure consistently well for a long time.

The second valuable I suggest you consider his reading all the reviews on various physician review websites and avoid providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews.

The absence of justified negative reviews tends to be far more telling than abundance of positive reviews.

Hi and welcome to our forum!From your photos, I note a full abdomen, flanks and hips. Abdominal fullness may be due to the presence of excess subcutaneous fat, stretching of the abdominal musculature following pregnancy or significant weight loss, or the presence of visceral fat ( fatty deposits among your internal organs). One cannot differentiate among these entities without a physical examination.Significant improvement can be achieved following a BBL. However, your postoperative depictions may not be physically possible. The surgical result is limited by the shape of your underlying musculoskeletal system.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
