Can I get liposuction to remove the side boob without a breast reduction?

I don't mind the size of my breasts. However I have major side boob. It makes my full breastst look saggy on the sides and makes me look heavier than I am

Yes, liposuction can be performed to reduce the excess tissue and reshape the axillary region. I have also combined this with excision of excess tissue if necessary. Good luck!

It is very common to have liposuction of your lateral chest/axilla.  If you are happy with your breasts then just do the liposuction.

I think what you are describing are called axillary rolls that can be targeted successfully with liposcution.  This will improve the contour but will not affect the breast.

Certainly you can.  Generally this area responds well to liposuction.  If you have extremely lax skin then you may not have the best results.  When you talk to your surgeon make sure you carefully discuss and are clear about what areas will be treated.  Be prepared for some swelling and recovery time until the skin retracts completely. I believe you are describing what is referred to as the bra roll area. This generally responds very well to liposuction.

Liposuction works great for that area.  It is very helpful to contour a nice rounded shape to the lateral breasts.  This can also be done at the same time as a reduction or even an augmentation.  I would find a board certified plastic surgeon who has done this. Good Luck!

It is certainly possible to have liposuction on this area.Most women Who have this fullness  have a substantial skin laxity as well.This will limit the outcome of liposuction by itself.If you're having a breast reduction I suggest talking to your plastic surgeon about extending the incision to remove the skin and fat.Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.
