What should I do about my uneven flanks? (Photo)

On Aug 27,2015 about 9 weeks post I had lipo to my right and left flank. They have been uneven since the very first day after surgery. I did have a follow up with my Dr. That lasted 1minute and 30sec after driving 4 hours away and waiting 3 hours to see him. He was very busy and didn't have time to talk to me.

This needs lymphatic massage, drainage daily and tight compression.  It will take weeks for it to resolve.  A close watch should be placed on this.  If it continues to recur then placing a drain may help resolution.  Best, Dr. emer.

How snug should a compression garment fit?

Your compression garment should be moderately tight, but should not constrict your movement or hinder your breathing. I would recommend talking to your surgeon and see if you can exchange it for a larger size.

It is always a good idea to remove all piercings for surgery to insure a more sterile environment, while minimizing complication.

Do I need to quit my morning cup of coffee prior to Lipo?

Coffee is normally fine, but always check with your surgeon. However, if you are going under general anesthesia there is no eating or drinking the day of your surgery.

I don't know if it's swelling or a seroma. I've had 2 protruding "lumps" in my lower abdomen for a couple of months now (Photo)

I suggest speaking to your physician and getting a formal evaluation to determine if this is swelling , fluid, or just anatomy.  Some people have this body shape regardless of liposuction.  If not, external heating devices and massage help.  Best, Dr. Emer.
