How snug should a compression garment fit?

I had lipo a week ago, and this garment is tight! I can't go up and down stairs well bec it restricts.....also, I can't sit in it bec I can't breathe!

It is always a good idea to remove all piercings for surgery to insure a more sterile environment, while minimizing complication.

Do I need to quit my morning cup of coffee prior to Lipo?

Coffee is normally fine, but always check with your surgeon. However, if you are going under general anesthesia there is no eating or drinking the day of your surgery.

I don't know if it's swelling or a seroma. I've had 2 protruding "lumps" in my lower abdomen for a couple of months now (Photo)

I suggest speaking to your physician and getting a formal evaluation to determine if this is swelling , fluid, or just anatomy.  Some people have this body shape regardless of liposuction.  If not, external heating devices and massage help.  Best, Dr. Emer.

It is not okay to do cardio 10 days after liposuction.  It will mobilize nothing but it will surely increase the swelling and put you at risk for bleeding and hematoma formation.  Typically it is best to wait 4 weeks after liposuction before starting cardio.   You certainly will...
