Pain swelling and bruising 2 weeks after breast augmentation, should I go to the ER?

Thank you for sharing your question.  Your first step should be to always reach out to your surgeon for advice and an in-person examination.  If you are unable to reach them then I would advocate going to the ER as it sounds as if you have developed a hematoma.  

I recommend touching base with your surgeon as soon as possible. If you are unable to get a hold of him or her then yes go to your nearest ER to be assessed. Regards, 

Pain, swelling and bruising that starts suddenly two weeks after surgery warrants a call to your Plastic Surgeon immediately. 

It is not normal to develop new bruising and swelling.  You should be seen sooner than later by your Plastic Surgeon.  Best of luck to you.

Developing new bruising, swelling and pain after two weeks is not expected and could represent a problem such as bleeding/hematoma in the implant pocket. Thank you for your question.   You need to call your Board Certified Plastic Surgeon immediately.

You should contact your plastic surgeon immediately to be evaluated. You may have a hematoma (blood collection). 

Call  your surgeon immediately. If you have an expanding hematoma they would have to treat this emergently. Direction from your surgeon is most appropriate to address this issue!

I would suggest calling your surgeon and asked to be seen today. If you go to the ER, the physician there will want you to see your surgeon.
