Answer: Avoiding illness and Getting ready for surgery. Hello and Thank you for your question. I usually recommend my patients to take vitamin C and lots of fluids. Also you can take some multivitamins. Finally speak to your Plastic surgeon and speak about your concerns. Hope this can help and Good Luck!

Answer: Avoiding illness prior to surgery In order to strengthen your immune system, there are several things you could do. First, get your supplement only from natural health food stores; never from a pharmacy or grocery store (typically sell synthetic junk that does not belong in your body). I recommend my patients take a good multivitamin along with Vitamin C (ester C is the best for your intestines). You should take 500-1,000mg of Vit C 3 times per day with meals. Take 5,000i.u of Vitamin D3 for the next several weeks. Coconut oil, oil of oregano, and Zinc are also good to take. Eating healthy and avoiding processed foods and sugar will also go a long way. Drink only water or green tea (no soft drinks). Finally, consider taking green powder supplements and taking in about 80 grams of good quality protein per day. Natural health food stores can help you with all of these ideas.
