Hello, when I was about 14, my dentist cut off part of my upper lip frenum to close a tooth gap in the front. I don't remember if I had a gummy smile before that, but could that be a possible cause? Is reattaching the cut off part going to fix my gummy smile? Or is there a better procedure? I've looked into botox but it would be only a temporary solution. Raising my gum would be a no go since my teeth are pretty long already. Which kind of doctor would specialize in such procedures? Thank you.
