Crazy painful headache after getting FUE hair transplant. Is this normal?

I just had an FUE hair transplant. It has been 5 days now. The problem is I keep getting crazy painful headache since the 2nd day of the transplant. This happens randomly and lasts for aproximately 2 hours. However when I get some pain on my head (ex. from cleaning at the clinic, when I lie down and try to sleep), I'll have the headache soon after. I also keep getting a small fever since the 1st day of surgery.

Hi, I highly recommend you see the surgeon who performed your transplant as soon as possible. The main concern right now is the possibility of  infection since you have a fever. I don’t think the transplant alone could cause headaches but also have your doctor check on this.

A trip to the doctor is recommended. You may just have a virus and it is just a coincidence that it is roughly at the same time as your procedure. However, you may have an infection and it is a good idea to have a doctor look at it.

If you are having headaches and fever after FUE, you should return to see your surgeon and get an examination making sure that you don't have an infection or some problem from the surgery
