Two Weeks Post Beard Transplant

Its been exact two weeks since I got the beard transplant done with 1500 grafts. The donor area is almost normal and I have started moderate exercise like 30 mins brisk walking from today. Theres no shedding yet and I have started using regular face wash as well. There is some kind of numbness in the region and when I touch it doesn't feel as smooth as before and there are very tiny dark spots. Is it normal? Also is sun exposure fine now? Want a general judgement from the experienced docs here

Beard hair is a genetic trait similar to the color of your eyes and hair.  Some people are born with the genetics for no facial hair.

If you are having issues after surgery it is best to follow up with your surgeon first.  If that does not help see another doctor for a consultation.

There are no medications to grow facial hair in general.  If you want uniform facial hair, you may consider facial hair transplant surgery.

If you get facial hair transplant from your head to your beard, will it be the same color?

Transplanted hairs will look and grow like hairs from the donor area.  So the color and texture may not match.  This is something you discuss with your doctor.

Many things are possible but it may not be possible for your particular case.  A doctor would need to examine your donor hair and you would have to understand you may need multiple surgeries.

You can probably use pubic hair as your donor hair but you would need to discuss this with your doctor and understand the risks and benefits.
