It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.  You may have lost your existing (original) hairs as new transplanted hairs grew out.

Its difficult to tell from the pictures but you should at least see some fine shorter hairs growing in the grafted areas by now. Typically at 3-4 months the hairs will start to grow. Between 6-9 months you'll get a good idea of what it's shaping up to be. I would go in for a checkup with your surgeon and evaluate the progress so far.

At 6 months you will be at only about 50% growth, at 12 months you will be at roughly 90% growth. Remain patient and continue to follow your doctors post op care instructions.

At eight months you should see significant growth.  Now would be a good time to visit your surgeon and review your preop photos.

It is difficult to evaluate your 8 months PO without the before photos. However you need to be patient for full result in the next  4-6 months. You have 70-80% of your result now.

If you believe that you had poor growth at this point in time, go back and meet with your doctor and discuss the results with your doctor
