Thank you for your question. Coolsculpting permanently eliminates fat cells in the treated area, the remaining fat cells can still grow in size with weight gain. There is no specific diet but a basic healthy diet and regular exercise will help maintain results. This will help minimize cell growth and allow you to see your best results. Best,
There is no specific diet required after CoolSculpting, but if you are overweight, dieting can definitely improve your results. This most basic type of diet would include eating healthier foods, increasing exercise and decreasing the amount you eat.
Great question and thank you for posting! This is very important topic. Regarding a diet plan after CoolSculpting, I would love to be able to give you specific advice. In order to get some specific advice, I would require to know a lot more information about you. Because unfortunately, there is no one size fits all when it comes to diet. We all have a different basal metabolic rate, lifestyle, genetics and a long list of individual factors that influence the way we process and store calories. Some basic information to consider is age, your height and your current weight. What is your current diet like? It would be important to have a general idea of your current calorie needs and intake. Additionally, what kind of foods do you like to eat? What kind of foods will you not consider eating at all? This is one of the most under-considered factors when giving diet advice. Do you exercise and if so, how much? For people that are inactive, low calorie plans may be helpful to lose or maintain weight. For active people, it is important to get plenty of calories to meet your daily needs and avoid rebounding weight gain effects from low metabolism due to inadequate calories. I think the most important general advice I can give you is that if you are able to maintain a stable weight, you do not necessarily need any specific diet after CoolSculpting to appreciate the potential results. Rely on what you know about yourself, your eating habits and be honest with yourself about how many extra calories you may or may not burn in a day due to physical activity. Thank you again for posting your question. Do not hesitate to comment or reply. And best of luck with your CoolSculpting results!
CoolSculpting will permanently remove 20-25% of the fat cells from the areas that have been treated. Most patients will need to treat twice in order to achieve the best possible results. We always recommend that patients try to adhere to a healthy routine of balanced meals and exercise. But, there is nothing special that is required. I do think that it is important to not fall into the trap of thinking that you can eat anything you want just because you have had CoolSculpting. Just keep things sensible, and you will be fine.
Diet is very important for someone investing money into coolsculpting. If you do not have any medical issues, the best way to maintain your figure and help achieve further weight loss is to have a diet high in protein and good fats along with some animal fats, such as butter and whole milk. Eat three well-balanced meals a day, exercise for 10 minutes after each meal, and have only healthy snacks such as fruits and nuts.If you have tendency to develop diabetes or your insulin level is high, a visit to an endocrinologist can be lifesaving.Good luck.
Hi hdvij, It makes sense to go on a healthy diet post CoolSculpting because these procedure kills off only 25% of the fat cells in the affected area? So what happens to the rest? Extra nutritional calories will be stored as fat; meaning, the remaining fat cells, all 75% of them can again swell after the uptake of the fat.It is best to protect your CoolSculpting investment by being vigilant about your diet. Keep to the number of calories recommended for your height and build. Aside from ensuring your have a lot of filling fiber, ask your doctor if you can go on the Paleo or Clean Diet.Don't forget to get enough exercise so yu can void diet plateaus. All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
This is a great question. Actually, the good new is that CoolSculpting will have no effects on the kidneys, as the dead cells will be filtered out by the liver. And, even though the fat cells will be removed by the liver, it happens at such a slow rate over a period of months, that no damage is...
