After 17 days of FUE I started rubbing my recipient area few times a day, now I'm worried that, I might have affected the grafts

Answer: Rubbing Recipient Area after hair transplant Gentle rubbing with shampoo in the shower should not cause any issues, but squeezing, scratching, picking etc... should be avoided.

Answer: Could rubbing grafts 17 days post-FUE cause any damage? (Photo) At 17 days following your procedure, the grafts are permanently in place and will not be dislodged. Rubbing your scabs gently to allow them to come off at this point is fine and should not damage them.

Answer: Rubbing grafts 17 days after surgery If there are crusts still present, you run risks rubbing the grafts. I generally tell my patients to leave the recipient area alone as rubbing and touching it can, on occasion, cause infections called folliculitis
