Question

when i'm not wearing underwear it still looks like it and they go past my thighs so i have to move my underwear a certain way to even out that bump. what are those? how do i get rid of it?

Basically you are seeing areas of localized fat deposits. These are your body's genetically predisposed areas where you deposit excess fat. Reducing the fat in those areas, will improve your contours. You can try a period of weight loss with diet and ecercise. That does not happen quickly and will take time. In so far as surgical procedures, your contours could be greatly tailored with liposculpture. You may also be a candidate for a tummy tuck procedure depending on your goals and expectations. It looks like you have excess fat and loose skin you would need a tummy tuck. You would need a physical exam to confirm this. Options in treating a tummy tuck include: 1) Liposuction. This suctions fat but does not tighten skin or muscle. 2) A Mini Scar Tummy Tuck suctions fat, tightens muscles but does not tighten skin. If the patient has loose skin, I do not recommend this procedure. 3) Tummy Tuck. I perform a tummy tuck that not only gives patients a very natural looking tummy and belly button but patients typically wake up in no pain. In addition pain and recovery are significantly less versus traditional techniques. It is not uncommon for patients to take only Tylenol after surgery.
