After months of consistent use and eye lash growth, will eye lashes fall out once you stop using Latisse? Thank you!

As you know from using Latisse, it takes about a month
before you start to see improved lash fullness.Once you achieve adequate growth it is actually possible to back off and
only use it 2-3 time per week to maintain growth.Latisse works on the lashes as they grow, and eyelashes are
always turning over just as skin cells and other types of body hair. Some are mature and eventually shed, while
others are new and starting to grow.If you would stop Latisse ‘cold turkey’ you should expect
not to see an immediate change, but rather a slow decline in growth as those
lashes were treated the longest shed. The new lashes replacing them have hot been treated with Latisse, due to
this; they will not be as long and lush. After a while you will just go back to your normal baseline lash
length. You won’t have to suffer through
any awkward period without any eyelashes!Also, if you decide to start using Latisse again, you can
plan to progress through the same growth stages as you did the first time.

Stopping Latisse is perfiectly safe. Actually, once the deisires lenght is achieved, many people cut back to 2-3 times a week. If you discontinue using it, your lashes will gradually return to their pre-treatment length.

When you stop using Latisse, your lash growth cycle will normalize. In short, no, your lashes won't all "fall out." However, you will gradually lose the long ones as your lash growth returns to its normal state. Eventually, the long lash effect will completely disappear after discontinuing Latisse.

Once you stop using Latisse, its effect will slowly go away. This is due to the lash growth cycle normalization. It may take several months before this happens. My patients have found that once they reach the desired effect, the frequency of applications can be decreased for maintenance of the effect.

Merely over time, your growth cycle will go back to what it was and so your lashes will go back to their normal length, thickness, and coloration. But they do not just fall out.
