I had my breast augmentation surgery in summer of 2019. I have been noticing my sensation is starting to come back as of late but i am not sure what these white dots are. They were not this prominent before. The surgery involved the removal of my nipple and sewing it back.

It is unlikely that these color changes are related to your breast augmentation/lift surgery since they show up so late. They appear mostly around milk ducts and may be something to do with it? Do you have any similar color changes else around your body?

Those dots are loss of pigmentation which can occur. It might come back with time or you can get tattooed

I doubt your nipples were actually removed and sewn back on, but excess skin around was removed while your nipple-areola complex stayed on the breast. You did lose some pigment (white dots) on your nipple. You can have cosmetic, not artistic tattooing to replace the color lost.

The white dots must likely represent areas that I’ve lost pigmentation or are scar tissue, which also does not pigment the same way regular skin does.
It would be important for us to know the exact type of procedure you had, including if you had your nipple placed as a skin graft(I don’t think that’s the case) Or if the nipple was simply moved as part of a breast lift,
