I am interested in options for treating my dry hands in the winter. I am 28 years old, so I am not concerned about age spots or volume loss. I think my main issue is transepidermal water loss because my hands are fine when the humidity is high. I have tried using chemical exfoliants, emollients, and occlusive, but after an hour from application, my palms are no longer soft. I use a humidifier and wear gloves when I go outside, but this doesn't make much of a difference for me.
