I have had eczema since childhood. It's the worst on my hands. I layer moisturisers and my corticosteroid creams at night and wear cotton gloves, which helps a lot with inflammation and broken skin, but I still have bumpiness and rough texture all over my hands. Is there any way to fix this? (My facial eczema never behaves this way, when I flare up I apply corticosteroid creams and it gets better in a few hours to days.)
They lack elasticity now. I am 41 and my skin on my hands looks much more aged than any other skin anywhere else on my body. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Why would this happen?
I'm 35, but my hands and forearms look much older. My fair skin ages faster than normal in response to sun exposure. (In constrast, the skin on my stomach is smooth.) First noticed my hands looked older than normal when I was nine. At one point, I was 80 lbs heavier than now, but I lost the weight slowly and have kept it off for 4 years. If I pinch an inch of skin towards my underarm, the tops of my arms look somewhat normal. Any ideas for treatment? Even when it's 100 degrees out, I wear long sleeves.
I was informed by my clinic that the price for hand rejuvenation using Radiesse filler was £500. I had the treatment and at first my hands were swollen. The swelling then went down and they are now the same as they were pre-treatment. I have looked at photos pre-treatment which confirms this. My clinic now says they only used 1 vial and that 2 vials are normally used and I would have to pay another £500. Is this normal?
