Answer: Hair texture after transplants? If u ask hair stylists they will tell u yes! The finer the hair the less kinky. There is no texture change with the Fleming Mayer Flap procedure and no need for multiple procedures.

Answer: Wha texture will the transplanted hair be? I get this question a lot over the years.If you have coarse wavy hair in the donor site (back of head) than that is the way it will be when we relocate to the desired new location etc... It will keep the same characteristics.

Answer: Does transplanted hair have the same texture as your remaining hair? In general, yes. Curly hair is unlikely to get straighter when it is transplanted but occasionally straight hair will develop a wave or a bit of curl. If this occurs with the initial growth, it might resolve with continued growth and subsequent hair life cycles.
