Answer: Wearing a helmet after a hair transplant It is inportant to check with your surgeon regarding specific advice on wearing a helmet. Wearing a helmet is generally fine after 12 days to 14 days.Every surgeon has slightly different advice and it partly depends on how good of a job the patient does with post op care.

Answer: Wearing a helmet after a hair transplant If you had FUE, you can wear a helmet after the crusts (scabs) have been off for 1 week. Make sure that the helmet does not rub on the recipient grafts. If you had strip surgery, the same rule applies but make sure that the helmet does not rub on the wound.
