Hello, I was wondering what the max amount of grafts that can be placed in total regardless of the amount of sessions needed (including FUT and FUE combined)? Will the results typically always appear thin up close? What is the max safe density per square cm? Thank you.

Answer: It all depends on your donor area Haw many can you move? -- a lot! But how much do you have? You want to maintain a density of at least 35-40 FU's per square centimeter to not look thin. I'd suggest seeing a hair surgeon in your area who is familiar with and LIKES FUE and get their oppinion. There may be some medical therapies you should consider as well. Good luck!

Answer: Max density and maximal numbers; The maximum number of grafts in the donor area in one's lifetime is 0-10,000.Some people are not candidates (those with diffuse unpatterned alopecia, DUPA) and some are great candidates. The max safe density is around 40 FU per sq cm
