I had an FUT done. How many days will it take to heal for the donor area?

Hi ,i had an FUT done on 29 nov,2015, my question is how many days will it take for the donar area to heal? Do i have to get the stiches cut off or it will dry and fall of by self.

You need to call your doctor for post operative care and follow up.  Your doctor should have given you an appointment to return to have your suture removed.  This can be 7 to 14 days.

The post op care for hair transplant is about two weeks. The donor area may take about longer or up to four weeks . But after your healing  process, you can return to your normal routine and not worry about the transplanted hair.  The hair will start to grow in gradually after three months.

The wound heald very fast, but the strength of the wound blobs over time. At 3 weeks, the wound is 60% strong, but 4 weeks it is 70% healed and by 6 weeks it is 95% healed so you can do whatever you want.
