I had developed hyperpigmentation from co2 laser...which cream should I use ? I have access to...retain a, hydroquino 4%,kojic acid,kojivit cream ?or any other...and also which sunscreen???

Although it would be best to return to your treating physician for definitive treatment some recommendations can be made or suggested.First, strict sun avoidance, and that includes indirect sunlight, is highly recommended.  Despite this sunscreens should be applied frequently and these sunscreens should contain zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide.Other measures that are helpful for hyperpigmentation are hydroquinones (greater than 4%) or other organic based lightening agents such as Kojic acid and antioxidants: green tea, caffeine, Vitamin C.I hope this helps.

In our office, we continue to advocate the Melarase AM and Melarase PM creams as the most well tolerated and effective cream program to address hyperpigmentation. First of all strict sun protection - hats and SPF 50+, must use at least twice a day, regardless of sun exposure. I like using a 6% HQ cream, followed by independent Vitamin A/ retinol.
