I have friends and family that have saline implants and they felt perfectly fine after 2-3 days. I'm 9 days into my recovery and I still discomfort and the need to keep icing.

Answer: Is the recovery with silicone breast implants longer than saline? There should be no difference between the implants themselves. The position, subglandular vs subpectoral, would make a difference, however. But, saline vs silicone should have identical recovery time, healing, and complication rate. Best wishes!

Answer: Recovery Time After Breast Implants Recovery time after breast augmentation is not different between saline and silicone implants. Everyone heals at a different pace. in my experience 2 to 3 days after surgery is very soon to experience a full recovery
