Can I take a 10 hours road trip 3 days after BBL?

I would not recommend this for my patients.  Please discuss with your surgeon.
The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.  Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery.

Hi and thanks for the question. I do not recommend this length of a car trip so soon after BBL. You will be uncomfortable lying down for that amount of time. If you do take a car trip however it is very important to get out and walk for at least 10-15 minutes every 30-60 minutes to minimize the risk of blood clots. Best of Luck - Dr. Hardy...

Greetings. I would not recommend a long trip for that amount of time 3 days after a BBL.  However, you should discuss this with your plastic surgeon.  Ambulation is a good thing after a procedure of this intensity.  Good luck!

Standing and walking is a good thing as we want  you moving around and circulating the blood in your legs to avoid getting a blood clot. Taking a long road trip/vacation 5 days after surgery will be miserable for you! You are going to be in pain and have a lot of swelling. Swelling gets worse the more active you are in the early periods after surgery. You should ask your PS for their recommendations.
