I am petite and muscular; 5"2 and 129 lbs. I feel that I already have a nice sized behind but of course I want to make it bigger. Do I have enough fat for a transfer? Or should I just do liposculpture to create a waist? I am not interested in hips; I like my laterals. I am after more fullness and projection in the shape I am already made. My wish pic is the last one of the lady in the bathing suit.
Answer: Do I have enough fat to create more fullness and projection? Thank you for your question. You don't appear to have enough fat to tranfer to your buttocks and make a difference. Although you can get a refinement liposuction in your abdomen, back and waist to give your body a much curvy shape bringing up your buttocks. You definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Don’t settle for less than a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.

Answer: "Enough fat" is a relative question The question of whether a patient has "enough fat" is relative to their goals and expectations. Most patients have adequate fat for transfer, however, adequate for transfer does not necessarily guarantee a particular result. There must be some correlation between expectations and reality in order to ultimately obtain a satisfactory outcome. BBL or buttock augmentation is an excellent option for contouring the hip and buttocks area. However, there are limits to what can be accomplished. The primary limits are: -donor sites available for fat transfer -patient anatomy Patients often forget that there shape is defined by more than mere fat content. Bone and muscle structure also plays a critical role in defining shape. While fat transfer can add to these contours, it cannot create them de novo. Patients with narrow hips will be hard pressed to achieve a dramatic contrast in waist to hip ratio. Based upon your photos, you appear to be a reasonable candidate for fat transfer. Your goal photos may be slightly ambitious as your donor fat reserves do not appear to be adequate to achieve such dramatic results. It is important to remember that not all of the grafted fat remains (up to 50% resorption rate). As always, discuss your concerns with a board certified plastic surgeon.

Answer: Do I have enough fat to create more fullness and projection? Hello dear! Thanks for the photos and provided information as well. Based on your photo you are a good candidate for liposuction and BBL. I think you'll get very good results. The fat transfer, often called Brazilian butt lift has become extremely popular because it allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You improve your waist, hips and of course your buttock. I recommend you to make an appointment with a board plastic surgeon for a good evaluation and to talk about your goals. Good luck :)
