Is it possible to remove a chin implant that was screwed in two years ago?

I had my chin implant done in south korea two years ago. I have been looking into getting it removed . I had one consultation and the doctor said she will not be able to help because she doesn't have the tools for the screws i have. The clinic in south korea said they are titanium screws by philips. How hard is it to remove these and how hard it is to find a doctor in the states that removes these? I dont want to make another trip overseas or keep wasting money for consultations when nothing will come out of it . Thank you .

Chin implants that are not fixed to the bone with mini screws can migrate. If you are unhappy with the current appearance of your chin implant, have it removed, replaced, or consider a sliding genioplasty.

So you definitely have at minimum a smaller jaw, which means that building up the jaw bone via filler or chin implant or genioplasty is absolutely going to help. That being said, you also have a low hyoid bone, which is where the muscles of the neck meet together and hinge to make the angle....

As long as you have foreign body present (implant, screws) there is a chance that you have mild infection. Even years after implantation. Treatment with antibiotics is usually the first step. Only if condition continues or becomes worse, surgical intervention, removal of implant and screws, may...
