Is my chin implant improperly positioned? Would revision or removal help? (Photos)
I had rhinoplasty, neck lipo, and a chin implant done August 2023. Immediately from the start I knew it was improperly placed. It’s protruding through my face like a horseshoe shape, the wings are ripping through my gums and are pointed upwards, and it’s causing me so much pain and bottom lip paralysis from what I assume is because of the compression on the mental nerve due to the implant being pointed upwardst. MMy doctor swear it “looks good” and everthing is normal and it’s correct, even though a few weeks after surgery he had to cut open the right side of my gums by my cheek and snip the end of the wing because it was killing me and causing my lip to move by itself.….My smile looks horrific now. It was pretty before and I told him from the start I didn’t want anything from The front to change. Only side profile. I can’t move my bottom lip at all still. I miss my teeth-y smile. And the pain burns, stings, tingles, etc. I can still feel each end of the wing with my tongue by my teeth. Would a removal or revision help? I love the length it gave my chin from the side view but it looks horrendous from the front!
