Question

Hard to move around in bed (laying on back)and go from laying to sitting even with help I can feel my pec muscles really working I’m hoping I am not doing any damage to the breast or implant. I am trying to not over do it but it’s hard. When sitting up feels like boobs shift and there’s pain which subsides. is this normal? Thanks

All sounds fairly normal. My patients can sleep in any position that is comfortable from the night of surgery on. They do not have to sleep on their back. My patients consistently tell me that their discomfort eases up a lot by the 4th day after surgery. More than 90 percent of my patients are back to work in an office setting by the 5th day. At 3 days it is completely normal to still have discomfort. You can always take an over the counter muscle relaxant to help settle your pec muscles down a bit, however if you are concerned then I'd suggest booking an appointment with your surgeon to be examined and reassured that everything is ok.
