Size A before BA and contemplating Explant of Implants

Hello, thank you for your question! You have a ruptured breast implant and silicone toxicity that is effecting your overall health, causing brain fog and fatigue. Breast implants are not meant to be in the body forever. Please fill out the breast implant illness questionnaire to assess the severity of your silicone toxicity. There have been many cases where majority of the patients feel symptomatic relief post-explant. My recommendation is to get an explant without any spillage of the silicone into the chest in ENBLOC fashion. Please ensure you complete your research on your surgeon to your fullest extent and have an informed consent of breast implant removal.

The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

It is difficult to discuss this issue without good photos. However, considering the size of implants, you wll end up with significant deflation and ptosis (saggy breasts). It is best to combine implant removal with breast lift, in your case. good luck.

Hi there, removal of your implants may help with your symptoms. If you are interested, this procedure can sometimes be performed under local anesthesia to help with costs. Good luck!

After reading your post I think you should definitely have your implants removed due to the rupture. If you are even the least bit concerned that your implants may be the cause of your other symptoms then I would also recommend just removing the implants and giving your body some time to heal. After you have healed up from the first surgery, you should be able to see if the explantation made you feel better or not and you can then make a better decision as to the next steps to pursue.

You did not ask a question, but you can remove the implants if you wish. Unless you have gained weight, you still will be small.

You can elect to remove your implants at any time. Often if patients are having BII symptoms they will elect to remove both the implant and capsule. There is no guarantee this will improve or resolve your symptoms, but is has for some patients. I've included a video on BII and implant removal that I hope you find helpful.
